  1. Place your child's foot on a flat piece of paper and trace around it, or stand them against a wall with their heel touching it.
  2. Mark the longest point of the foot — usually the big toe. Measure the distance from the heel to that mark in centimetres.
  3. Always measure both feet and use the larger measurement, as feet are rarely identical. For the most accurate result, measure at the end of the day when feet are at their largest.
